While exploring the skyline across the Mandavi river from Panjim, at ferry boat point visitors are bound to note majestic white monument on the other side of the river. This fascinating architectural beauty is Reis Magos Church. Dedicated to St. Jerome, Reis Magos church also known as Church of the Three Magi Kings was constructed in the 1555 and according to local legend site of ancient Hindu temple was converted into church with some new construction. Typical Hindu temple architecture of Vijayanagar temple architecture style is distinctly visible to support this legend.
Unlike the sparking white outerside, interiors of Reis Magos Church are quite colourful and impressive, even the wooden supports are multi colored and show depictions of the Three Wise Men going with gifts to see Baby Jesus Christ.
At the time of annual feast of Reis Magos Church [6 January] entire village get filled with waves of celebration and a procession is taken out. During the celebration Biblical story of the three Kings and their journey to the Infant Jesus is acted out by local youth probably due this church is also famous as Church of the Three Magi Kings.

Reis Magos Church is situated on banks of the Mandovi river in the Village Reis Magos on the road passing through the village and heading to famous Calangute and Candolim beaches. Visitors can catch the bus, hire a taxi / auto or cross the Mandavi river by ferry boat to reach this church.

Annual Feast day is the most suitable time to visit the church though one can visit any time round the year. Reis Magos Church and Reis Magos Fort are most famous landmarks of the Reis Magos village Goa.
